Power

Today the power was out for three hours. I really have no problem with this, except I was trying to cook dinner and I needed my stove, which is electric. Truly, necessity is the mother of all invention. Here is what I learned while I had no juice.

1. Using the grill is always a good idea
2. Battery operated drills can power food processors
3. Even though salad tastes better cold, warm ain't half bad

Thank goodness I have a brother around that thinks up solutions to my problems in the kitchen at the drop of a hat.

I'd like to see that drill powered processor.
