Blah

Last week I started to get really blah about work and life in general. I thought that the three day weekend would help, and it did, sort of. I woke up this morning with no desire, whatsoever to get out of bed, let alone get up and go to work (although I am proud of myself that I made it to work on time). It doesn't help that I am tired today.

On a completely unrelated note, I was wondering if any of you out there know how to get a ring off that is stuck. I need this for a friend and the only thing we have heard is lose weight (which she is, but her fingers swell with water after her walks) or to tie a sting around your finger and see if you can squish it enough to slide the ring off. We haven't tried the second method yet. I think we might try this weekend while Austin is at work.

A word to the wise, don't run out of toner if you need to print. We ran out yesterday and the only place in town that we can get a cartridge at is sold out at the moment. I really hope my Costco order gets here tomorrw, otherwise I will be so behind I might cry. So many copies to make and no tone makes for very slow days. I am really grateful that I din't close files yesterday, otherwise I would be sitting here waiting for the phone to ring. No matter how long I stare at it, nothing happens. I get up an leave for lunch and I get calls galore.

Sorry I am rambling. I think I will go to bed early tonight and see if that helps. I might also try to do jumping jacks, in my heels to see if that will invigorate my mind and keep me awake.

When you get cold your fingers shrink, so try washing the hands with cold cold water, and lots of soap, it should just slip right off. and of course relax. Let me know if any of that works, it has worked for me in the past.

We all have morings/weeks/days/months where we don't want to get out of bed, but eventually the tide changes and things get better. hang in there! :) Do you have a walgreens in town, because they refill ink cartridges... Call them and see if they can help you out.

xoxo.

worst case of course, you can call the fire dept and they will cut it off your finger free of charge... its also pretty easy to have sautered (sp?) back together by a jeweler later.

Have her try in the morning when she first wakes up, before moving, before the blood starts moving through your body.

I'd say stick your hand in icewater, but I think that would shrink the ring too.

I've had to icky depressed in bed mornings too, but the odd part is during the day, I feel more motivated, desire to get involved and frank ambition. Maybe I'm becoming bipolar

Sorry about the blah days! I hate that. When I get the blahs it usually last for a couple days and then I seem to pull out of it. Hopefully you are out of it by now.
Good luck with your friend's ring!
Love ya!
