Leadership

There was a worldwide leadership training meeting today. It was absolutely amazing. I totally wish that I could empress upon people how wonderful the leaders of our church are. I know quite a few people who didn't go. It kind of makes me sad because they could have caught the spirit of Bishop's request. There were several things that were discussed that although were presented in a family context could be expanded and applied to the ward workings. I can't get over how well the leaders of the Church know the needs of their flock. There is no other way that they could know everything that I needed to hear without a Divine influence.

I am tired, so I will be quick. I just need to say that President Monson is the man for the job at this time. When he got up to speak I felt this wonderful outpouring of love for him the Spirit testified that he is the Prophet. I never doubted that he was a prophet, but I questioned if he could fill the shoes left to him by President Hinckley. I now know that he can and will. I love him and support him.

I feel great contentment at this time. I have much to do and I am very far behind, but I can do it. I need to start again, but I will get the help I need if I do my part of the bargain.
