What to do?
My brother is blessing his baby girl this weekend. I really, REALLY want to go. Austin is not so keen on going. I can't go down in my car for lack of gas money, but I hate having no wheels when I am in the valley, so I am disinclined to go with my parents. I know I am whining. I feel better putting it out there though.

i guess you just have to decide which is worse... Missing it, or feeling stranded when you are here? Where will you be staying? If you are close enough to people you know maybe you can make plans with friends while you are here and will feel LESS stranded.
